How are bonding extensions attached? What accessories do you need to properly attach keratin bondings? You are in the right place when it comes to such questions about the incorporation of a hair extension. Our Remy human hair extensions are pre-bonded with a keratin bonding, i.e. the loose hairs are combined with a bonding according to the desired strand weight. These individual strands must now be attached to your own hair. To do this, you need a so-called connector, a device with which the material can be melted and a connection point can be formed.
Keratin – a hair building block for attaching hair extensions
Keratin is known to many customers as a component of hair. Nothing else is used for attaching extension strands to your own hair. Ideally, a bonding is made of Italian hard keratin, because this material is particularly durable and resistant – properly attached, your hair extensions will last up to 6 months. This material must be properly fused to hold particularly well – here you need a good heat tongs or the best connector specifically for extensions with keratin.
Which connector is the best?
In our online store you will find a wide range of different heat tongs. We have connectors with and without temperature control, with a flat contact surface or with a small notch. The pliers are all of high quality workmanship and have a coated contact surface, so that no glue sticks to the pliers. You can set a specific temperature for the pliers with a regulator, but we always recommend a very high temperature of 200°C to melt the bonding in correctly. Overall, all tongs are suitable for the incorporation of our human hair extensions, the choice of tongs is up to you.
